I am currently trying to compile the raven sources for jk2 1.02, and jk2 1.04. They claim the VC++ 2008 express edition would do this without any problem, but yet i am getting stuck. I am getting enormous amounts of overloads on functions and definitions.
Is there a iso-standard set-up needed in the compiler settings or some form of ompatibillity raising option ?
Ok thank you, some way or another i found visual c++ 8 (2008) trough a go.microsoft.com/ link. i actually thought they completely deleted all the links to promote the 2013 version.
edit : seems to need manual bug / syntax fixing. it seems the code still needs manual adjusting, even with visual studio 8... starting to wonder how raven ever compiled this without non stop overloads and linking errors. so i am going to try and byte the bullet and attempt to get it compiling in vc++ 2008 in a hope to get it to 2013. but this might end up in a total fail...
LMAO, grow up a bit... just a bit, behaviour like that will end jk2 faster, and will make it disapear into nothingness. BTW, to make the mods you refer to you do not need to compile the entire source code.
