for me and my boy misery...
we like making little obstacle courses where you have to get through a part of ffa bespin when we've covered it with mines

BUT

some problems:
you can only place 10 mines at once
if cheats aren't on, you need to wait over 3 times for mines to respawn to get the total amount
if someone accidentally sets off the mines you have to place them all again

SO. can someone make a mod where you can PLACE more than 10 at a time, can instantly refresh mines after they've been destroyed so you can attempt the challenge multiple times without having to place them every single time and make it so that you can pick up 100 at a time rather than 3?

would this be easy/doable?
if so plees do it. it too fun! you will c.

Well for more than 10 mines... is that actually the maximum from the server or a player? If player, then just do it with more players lulz. (Or join twice) As I know the iL Server has the time for shilds changed, maybe that guy who changed it knows how to do it for mines. Just ask the iL guys for him.

Secondly unlimit mine ammo (at least 999) is already possible with Mod Builder by Nere and Scharp


Oh btw. no: you dont have to wait so long for 10 mines. Just place 2 then kill yourself and pick up ur lost mines again and u have 3 again. Nib. That's some bug which ppl flame about in CTF.

okej but how u reset mines? and is it not possible to make a mod that allows you to place more than 10 at once?

no

by reset mines i mean is there a way to set up the map so that u can have the mines automatically placed in the same places they were before they blew up? i.e. i painstakingly take 10 minutes setting up an elaborate minefield. subject A attempts to navigate the minefield and subsequently fails (caus i a badass mine layer). he wants to try again but i don't want to spend 10 minutes every attempt. is there a way to make the mines appear in the same place they were before they blew up?

no. jk2mp.exe has no savegame option. BUT maybe this unlimited mods works with team ffa and the mines doesn't explode for teammates. Also.. do mines explode when you have mindtrick on? Or ... maybe you can set mine radius or damage down to 0 with Mod Builder so other mines won't explode then :roll: mh

Edit: Mod builder trick wont work it has no dmg or splash radius option for mines ;)

i already did in my mod. (JK Plus) unlimited ammo, no mine limits, etc etc... :)
to remove things i made a cmd /RemoveEnt <entity>. so u can remove by ent group. like /RemoveEnt Item_XXX
