In some of the developments im doing in Jedi Knight II / III, i find the possibility to fix the look of the game in widescreen. well, there are commands to adjust the resolution, but some things get fucked up in relation to the screen (like the HUDs), but that thing has a solution. Here I attached an example which im still in the testing phase.

haha thanks, i was very offline because i left my house, im living in a hotel now.

can u tell any cmds u use id rlly like to know
also i think 1st person mines is diff with 1920x1080
enjoy your hotel (no smoking in hotels overhere and i live in amsterdam!)

The fix for hud (health bars and icons) is not finished.
but for your resolution you can use:

seta cg_fov "100"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_mode "-1"

PD: asterdam is nice :P
